Supplements for holistic wellness: As a Holistic Nutritionist I believe that getting most of your nutrients and vitamins from real whole food has the biggest impact on your wellness.
However, supplements are great to use for holistic wellness. They are like security for your wellness to make sure that you are getting everything that you may not be able to get in food alone.
One reason being, our soil quality is not as nutrient-dense and mineral-rich as it once was, due to several reasons.
But if you are not eating a diet that is rich in real food with nutrient-density start there first!
I use and trust Fullscript for high quality supplements. They are third-party tested for things like heavy metals, and toxins. Click below to easily set up a free account.
The Supplements I Use for Holistic Health
I want to preface my supplements routine with the fact that these are what I take for my unique needs. {Disclaimer}* Before starting any supplement routine it’s important to consult your Doctor as there can be interactions with medications, or if you are pregnant or nursing.
Our bodies need different things at different times and it’s important that you know what your levels are. Once you know this it will help you to determine which supplements your unique body will thrive using.
But if you are curious or know what you need to take here are the current supplements that I take. This fluctuates with my needs and my dietary intake.
Support for Histamine Intolerance
Adaptogens for Stress Management and Support
I am a huge fan of Adaptogens, herbs that have medicinal qualities like Ashwagandha and Maca Root. Adaptogens help the body to “adapt” to stress and I truly have noticed a difference since taking these.
Here are some of the Adaptogens that I have been taking for years and I find that they do help my resiliency to stress.
I also take a powdered fruit that has one of the highest forms of vitamin C that we know of called Camu Camu. If you have issues with citrus of Histamine Intolerance which I spoke about here this is the perfect way to get in vitamin C without messing with your Histamine Intolerance.

Did you know that drinking plain water is not hydrating?
Your body requires minerals to bring water into the cells. I love to take mineral drops or these electrolyte packets to add to my water.
