Whole30 Sweet Potato Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 small apple use your favorite
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp Raisins
  • 2 Tbsp Pecans raw
  • 3 Tbsp Hemp hearts
  • 1 Small Roasted sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup unsweetned almond milk

Instructions

  • Core and chop a small apple and add to a small pot with 1/4 cup water
  • Add cinnamon to pot with apple and allow to simmer until tender
  • Simmer apples until tender. Once tender add 1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds
  • After adding Chia seeds, simmer for 1 minute
  • Remove from heat and add 1 Tablespoon of raisins, and 3 Tablespoons of Hemp hearts
  • Add previously cooked sweet potato (I used a small leftover roasted potato) and warm it in the microwave with 1/4 cup Unsweetened plain Almond milk.
  • Add items in a bowl side-by-side or on top of the sweet potato mixture. Add raw pecans (you can chop these or leave whole) on top and enjoy!
