In a recent YouTube video, I shared some of our family’s favorite healthy snacks from Aldi and Target. They also happen to be dairy-free, gluten-free, and inexpensive. All the items I shared can be found at your local store or online easily.
It’s so important that our family has snacks on hand that are healthy and still fit into our dairy-free and gluten-free lifestyle.
What’s great is so many discount grocery stores have popped up over the last few years that make healthier options less expensive.
I Love Trader Joe’s but it is pretty far away I find myself going into Aldi very often (since it’s close by).
I love Target for many things but especially for doing a quick drive-up order. And Amazon never disappoints either.

Favorite Healthy Snacks from Aldi

White Bean Chips – These chips are packed with fiber and protein. A single serving gives you 5 grams of each! This is a snack you can easily pop into your lunch bag. I like to include a piece of fruit and an individual guacamole cup to dip.
Guacamole – This is the larger pack of guac but the individuals are usually right next to the refrigerated and deli items in my local Aldi. They are perfect to grab and go. You can spread it on a sandwich or add it to pasta, or dip it with your favorite healthy crunchy snack.
Brown Rice Cakes – 2 simple ingredients are gluten-free brown rice and salt. I love that rice cakes work as a great base for so many things. I place tuna on top, and almond butter if I want something sweet. You can crumble and add to the top of a salad if you wanted a little crunch or some soup. So versatile and inexpensive.
Hummus – My son loves hummus and I don’t mind it if I have English cucumbers or carrots to dip. This too is such a great snack option. You could also add it to so many other things. They even have dessert hummus, I just haven’t tried it yet!
Coconut Cashew Crisps – These delicious little wafer cookies are so so good. This snack is really delicate and satisfies your sweet tooth without all the unnecessary ingredients that are typically found in packaged low-calorie treats. They are vegan, gluten-free, and grain-free.
Plantain Chips – One of my favorite chips to snack on and are very similar to starchy potato chips. Our family prefers the savory but sweet plantain chips are another option. These are a bit heartier than a regular chip but keep in mind they are still fried
Favorite Grain-free Snacks from Aldi and Target

Epic Bars [Target] and [Amazon] These bars have a pepperoni-like flavor and my husband absolutely loves the flavor and texture of these bars. they have 13 grams of Protein and will certainly satisfy your hunger while on the go. We love just grabbing these snacks and we don’t have to worry about refrigeration or temperature.
Good And Gather – This is Target’s version of the RX bars that we love but with a slightly slimmer price and slightly drier texture. We love that but if you compare them to the Rx Bars and love that texture you may be surprised by the texture of these. We love the flavor, texture, and price point. 13 grams of protein satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you full without the blood-sugar crash
Simple Mills Sea salt almond flour crackers are by far my favorite cracker. It is sure to keep you full and satisfied when paired with guacamole, nut butter, or on the side of chicken or tuna salad. Which is my favorite way to have them. Either way, they are an excellent addition to your dairy-free, grain-free snacking.
Perfect for Healthy Snacking on The go
This probably goes without saying but Fruit is the original fast food. It really doesn’t get much easier than grabbing a banana and a good source of protein like the Epic Bar and boom, you have a well-balanced snack.
We love chips and dip, high protein bars with simple ingredients and portable items
