Paleo Gluten-Free Baking Powder
What if I told you that making your own gluten free baking powder only required 3 ingredients? Well, that is exactly what I’m telling you.
It super simple and if you are someone that eat a gluten-free, grain-free, or Paleo style diet then this recipe fits all those eating styles.
I was debating on if I should even call this a recipe but I decided I would lol and share that with you if you’re wanting to remove some of those things from your pantry that just don’t work for you.
Even if you are not following this type of diet it can be helpful to make your own just to avoid cornstarch and aluminum that some baking powders contain.
Easy Homemade Gluten-Free Baking Powder
All you’re going to need is
- A jar for storage
- whisk or fork (or blender cup)
- mixing bowl or glass measuring cup with spout
- aluminum free baking soda
- tapioca starch, or arrowroot starch
- cream of tartar
It costs way less than the gluten-free baking powders that you may find at your local store and you may already have what you need to make it.

Gluten-Free Paleo Baking Powder
Equipment
- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 whisk or fork
- 1 jar for storage
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup arrowroot flour sub tapioca
- 1/4 cup gluten free baking soda
- 1/2 cup cream of tartar
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl or glass measuring cup with spout
- mix all ingredients together by hand or use a spice blender
- Add mixture to a glass jar for storage
