I Started A YouTube Channel

So I decided a while ago to start a YouTube Channel. It wasn’t easy to do but I really felt like I needed to just hop on and record a video. Or, quite honestly I would keep putting it off. I started a YouTube channel to hopefully encourage someone out there. It will also serve as a companion to this Blog. Starting a channel was something that I had been mulling over in my mind for a couple years honestly.

Waiting for the “right time” or when I knew more about video editing (still don’t really know what I’m doing). I used my Cell to record the video and stopped waiting until I got a great camera….Etc.

I wrote in this post how it’s difficult for me to put myself out there. I have the tendency to wait for things to be “perfect” before I start. Sometimes waiting isn’t the best option, I wrote about that here.

I figured someone else may also have the same issue and trepidation. You don’t want to start until you feel all your ducks are in a row like me.

Doing things that are not in your comfort zone is not a bad thing. Not having all the answers beforehand is okay. We learn, and we get more and more comfortable as we keep stepping forward. This Blog and the YouTube Channel will keep me accountable to continue to “start” even when it’s not perfect.

I started A YouTube Channel and this Blog and I’m honestly learning as I go. I’m flying by the seat of my pants lol, which is how I do most things. I’m reminding myself and someone else out there that there is training required to develop any skill. Most people become experts but they don’t start out that way.

I wanted to Encourage you to Start! It may be your own Channel, or Blog or something completely different. The point is everyone starts somewhere. I’m a big believer in starting right where you are. We all have different resources available to us and we all start out on a different foot.

When I look at all the people on YouTube, and alllll the various channels I could focus on that. Or I can focus on what I can bring to the table. I can compare or I can just show up with what I have. I’ve resolved to walk forward step-by-step not knowing what will come next.

So step out and start!
