Ingredients for Instant Pot Warm Potato Salad

All you need is a few tools and ingredients

  • 8 medium red-skinned potatoes
  • dried parsley
  • dried basil
  • black pepper
  • sea salt
  • Olive Oil
  • yellow mustard
  • filtered water
  • rice vinegar
  • organic sugar
  • dried onion, optional garlic
  • 1/2 cup filtered water (reserve to put in the Instant Pot)

How to Make Warm Potato Salad (Instant Pot)

  • Begin by peeling red-skinned potatoes and rinse well
  • Cut into equal-sized pieces
  • Add 1/2 cup filtered water to the bottom of the Instant Pot
  • Add cubed potatoes into Instant Pot
  • Add salt to taste ( I added 1/2 tsp sea salt)
  • Add in 1/2 tsp dried onion or onion powder
  • Add optional diced garlic clove or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Cover with lid and set to high pressure cook for 4 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 8 medium red-skinned potatoes
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • black pepper to taste preference
  • sea salt to taste preference
Add to Instant Pot
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 tsp dried onion optional minced garlic
  • sea salt * I added 1/2 tsp add salt to your preference
For the Dressing
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp organic sugar

Method
 

  1. Begin by peeling red-skinned potatoes and rinse well

  2. Cut into equal-sized pieces

  3. Add 1/2 cup filtered water to the bottom of the Instant Pot
  4. Add cubed potatoes to the Instant Pot
  5. Add salt to taste ( I added 1/2 tsp sea salt)
  6. Add in 1/2 tsp dried onion or onion powder
  7. Add optional diced garlic clove or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  8. Cover with lid and set to high pressure cook for 4 minutes

  1. Here’s my disclaimer… I know this recipe is delicious! I have made other dishes from Cher and they are quite tasty! Let’s start with, if you pick a recipe, make sure you have all of the ingredients you need. I was too committed to not make it, after I started. I had the wrong potatoes and no rice vinegar. I substituted apple cider vinegar and went a little too heavy on the mustard. Perfect potatoes in 4 minutes! Overall, it’s good even with my mistakes. I will try to make this again with all of the proper ingredients.
